Well, it's Valentines Day...
The snow is slowly but surely melting... not that the weather is warming, the sun has just been coming out of hiding. What snowmen are left are starting to look a little on the malnourished side.
... but despite the sad looking snowmen, and yet another winter storm on the way, I am overjoyed at how much my understanding of love has grown in the past year. I don't understand it all, nor do I think I ever will, but for now... for today... I celebrate where love has brought me from, where love has brought me to, and where love will bring me in the future...
I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand and the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way he makes me feel when his blue eyes catch mine and there are just no words for that.
