The reason for my recent lack of blogging…
These two!
(yes, this is Seth's 91 year old Grandma! She doesn't look or act like she's 91!)
Seth's Grandma is still in the hospital, but is being moved today to a rehab facility that is much closer... and on top of that...
Me and Seth now have a oh-so handsome nephew! Silas Franklin was born the day after Seth’s birthday, August 15. Sean and Natty are going to be great parents! Natty is doing fine and already looking great. Today is her birthday too, so happy birthday Natty!
Silas has added a burst of sunshine to our world and he is already spoiled rotten! The kid has more clothes than me and Natty put together!
(Waiting outside the door...we got to be there for just about the entire process!)
He was 5 weeks early and weighed 5 lbs, 13 oz and was a little under 19 inches long. He had to stay in the Preemie-ICU for a few hours right after he was born and then a few more right before he came home. He got to come home on Monday afternoon.
Yesterday we took him to visit grandma in the hospital and out for his first meal at Chili’s.
We had baby-fever before Silas entered our world but right about now it’s driving us both crazy! We shall just have to see… =)
