Us.

This is my last workday for the week. I get to spend Thursdays and Fridays with my handsome little man. This weekend is my birthday weekend and I am looking forward to it like I'm 5 years old or something! Friday night Seth will be taking me out on the town, and Saturday my dear friend and mother-in-law will be taking me out as well.

I may or may not post again before the weekend, but I leave you with this: I am a firm believer that you can't learn to love others until you learn to love yourself. I am on a constant journey to grasp this and have a husband who is so much more than patient with me. More and more I realize the importance of surrounding yourself with people who bring out your best. I also realize that sometimes, it is not always possible to be surrounded by people who inspire you to be the truest form of yourself. In those moments, days and maybe even seasons of life where you can't seem to find deeper connections and might feel like you are helplessly drifting away from the shore of your ideal reality, stay true to who you are. Be real, be the best you know how to be, and if you can't quite remember just who you are, take some notes on who you aren't and wait for that certain someone who sees your true beauty, accepts you unconditionally and helps to complete the process of making you make an "us".

I'm glad I have several "us" labels in my life... from the love of my life to those friends who you know will be there with you "through it all" ...cherish the "us" moments.

Life is full of different seasons. Inspiration and love is always worth the wait.
