VACATION '09!!!

We are officially back from our fabulous vacation and I'll just say this: It was PERFECT! =)

Just in the few days we have been back we have had to deal with some difficult issues, so it was a big blessing that we were refreshed and ready to go.

From the few days we spent in Florida, to the ship, and the port cities... we had a blast and came back completely refreshed! I am not even going to try to write out all of the details, but our week went a little like this:

Day 1:

Arrive in Orlando, Relaxed, Ate, Shopped, Relaxed

Day 2:

Went to a HUGE church in Orlando, Went to beach, Ate, Went to beach again, Relaxed

Day 3:

Ate (at Dunkin’ donuts!), Boarded Ship, Ate, Relaxed, Relaxed some more, Played some basketball, Got all dolled up, Ate again, And relaxed some more

Day 4:

Ate, Went to Coco Cay Beach, Shopped a little, Relaxed, Ate, Played some basketball, Got in pool, Relaxed, Got all dolled up, Ate again, Danced a little, Relaxed

Day 5:

Ate, Went to Nassau, Got rained on just a bit, Shopped A LOT, Ate, Shopped some more, Walked around the city, Got back on boat, Got dolled up, Got back off boat, Ate, Relaxed, Laughed a lot, Relaxed some more

Day 6:

Slept in, Ate, Relaxed pretty much ALLLLLL day!, Got all dolled up, Ate, took some motion sickness meds because the boat was rocking so bad, Got all dolled up, ate, hung out with new friends, danced, relaxed, Probably ate again, and relaxed some more

Day 7:

ATE, A rental car and airplane ride later…

Came home and saw our precious baby boy!

When I say “relaxed” it either means we were laying out on a deck somewhere staring out at the gorgeous ocean water, taking a nap, chilling in the pool, or laying out on a beach somewhere! All of which were the highlights of the trip for us. Both of us absolutely love the ocean, especially at sun set. It provides instant relaxation for us. The weather was PERFECT for our fair skin. The sun was out, but there were just enough clouds to provide some relief. Of course, I did some pretty major shopping. Thank you “Duty Free” shopping! Let’s just say, because my husband loves me SO SO much, I have a new best friend, and her name is Chanel. So basically we did what we set out to do and that was to come home completely refreshed and ready to take on the world again! I’m glad that we did because there is so much on the horizon that we are going to need every ounce of God’s strength and mercy to accomplish all that He has set before us. (and that’s an entire other blog, so be watching for it!)
